16 May 2022

Day 15 @ Sea, Bulldog Bait was deployed to the Northern Pacific Ocean as the 6th GO-BGC float of this expedition. Bulldog Bait was adopted by grade 10 of Ida Baker High School in Cape Coral, FL. Our science party showed great talent decorating the float with a bulldog mascot (Image 1). So far, six out of eleven floats for the leg-1 cruise have been deployed (Image 2). All are active and have sent back great data. Have an exciting voyage meeting phytoplanktons!
